Born in Oita Prefecture in 1985. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts and completed graduate school at the same university. He furthered his studies in Vienna and The Hague. He studied conducting under Yoko Matsuo. Since making his debut as a baritone singer in 2009 at the Tokyo Labor Union Music Hall's performance of Symphony No. 9, he has been active both in Japan and abroad. He has also participated in overseas performances and recordings with the Bach Collegium Japan, as well as regular performances with the New York Philharmonic. As a baritone soloist, he has performed with Hideomi Kuroiwa, Toshiaki Umeda, Ken Takaseki, Masaaki Suzuki, Masato Suzuki, Daisuke Soga, Shigeo Genda, Keiko Mitsuhashi, HM Schneidt, D. Bostock, V. Clemente, Tokyo University of the Arts Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra. He has performed on stage more than 400 times.

In recent years, he has also been active as a conductor, conducting choirs, wind ensembles, and orchestras, and performing with Happy Suns Mama Band, Beppu Philharmonia Orchestra, Strings Oita, Chamber Music Grand Oita, Bach Chamber Players Tokyo, and others. Since assuming the position of conductor, Jolly Company Wind Ensemble has been selected as the gold prize winner and representative for two consecutive years at the 55th and 56th Oita Prefecture Wind Ensemble Competitions. He also led the Matricaria Call, which has achieved great feats since its formation, including the Oita Vocal Ensemble Festival Grand Prize, the Prefectural Competition Gold Prize Representative, the Kyushu Competition Gold Prize Representative, and the All Japan Choir Competition Silver Prize (4th place) in the chamber division. He has served as a judge for the NHK National School Music Competition and other events, and has also lectured at many choral training sessions, and has attracted attention for his wide range of activities, including appearances on television and radio.

Currently, he is the conductor of Jolly Company Wind Ensemble, Matricaria Call, Oita Central Choir, Nakatsu Mixed Choir, Koge Furusato Choir, Sing in Messiah Tokyo, and the choir instructor for the Fukuoka New Year's Eve Concert. He is a trainer for the Beppu Philharmonia Orchestra, a director of the Oita Nikikai and the Oita Ninth Singing Association, a member of the Kitakyushu Music Association and the PTNA. He is also a part-time lecturer at Oita Prefectural College of Arts and Culture, Higashi Kyushu Junior College, and Oita Prefectural Midorigaoka Arts High School.
